History
Ray started in the Sign Industry in 1978 when he begun a 12 months Pre Apprenticeship course
at Ultimo Technical College ( in those days everything signage was completed by Brush ) , after completing the course he went on to work in Haberfield with Fred Dowling Signs ,for a 6 months temporary position to work on signs for the restoration of the Queen Victoria Building . While still working at Fred Dowling Signs he started working at Barry's Signs part time untill a permanent position become available in 1979
Ray worked there from 1979 till 1992 , in that time the industry started to change with he introduction of computerized sign systems.
Then came the decision to start his own business in 1992 and since then the industry has become even more automated with the introduction of Digital Printing Machines ,Ray still does a lot of hand signwriting on Trucks , Cranes , Vintage Bikes & Cars .
